Spine and Limb Foundation
The Spine & Limb Foundation is the major charitable, not for profit organisation in Western Australia providing services, advocacy and advice to people who have sustained a permanent spinal cord injury (quadriplegia or paraplegia) and in addition, persons who have sustained traumatic or genetic limb loss.
The Spine & Limb Foundation was founded in the amalgamation of the long-standing Paraplegic Quadriplegic Association of WA and the Civilian Maimed and Limbless Association of Western Australia. The two Associations had shared a common administration for more than 30 years and almost as a natural consequence of this close affiliation, in 2012, members formally resolved to amalgamate. From this process, the Spine & Limb Foundation was formed.
